Week 3(:

Risk: The possibility of loss in an investment
I took a risk when I bought CVX because it was down while it's competitors were up.
Small Cap: A company with low levels of money invested or stock bonds of low value
Small cap companies are often smaller companies.
Mid Cap: A company with average amounts of share capital in relation to other companies
The companies that i bought that are mid cap companies have great room to grow.
Large Cap:A company with a large amount of share capital
Companies such as Walmart and Apple are large cap companies.
1st Transaction:  I sold Barrack Gold. I bought ABX for $53.85 and it's trading price is now $46.21. Over the period of time that i had this stock, I lost $382.00. I think that Barrack Gold will continue to go down and loose me money so before that could happen, I wanted to get out from under it and sell it to make myself money to buy other stocks that I can actually benefit from.
2nd Transaction: I bought CVX(Chevron) for $89.88. Even though Chevron is down, I believe it will go up based on it's max chart. I chose Chevron instead of it's competitors because it has a much higher 52W range of $89.85-$92.77. I bought Chevron at it's lower part of the range because of the money it will make me in the long run. I predict that CVX will go up at least 5 dollars in the next couple of weeks based on the way it has moved up and down on the max chart.
