Candy Stock Exchange(:

When Mr. Kapptie told us to grab candy, I reached for anything and everything in my reach. I engulfed it all into me and then set it on the table in "my" space. He showed us prices and told us to trade. I sat there and watched everyone to see exactly what was going on. People were doing the same thing as me, nothing. I thought about how to use my candy to my advantage and how to trade in which others were willing. After I was told that Special Dark would go up, I grouped lower priced candy together and convinced others why they wanted to trade. After a few more trades, I just stopped, I was done. I thought about how I "lied" about not knowing things so I chose not to believe anyones "secrets." People continued to pester me and try and convince me to trade. I had to continue to say no way and not let myself be tricked by their "knowledge". I wanted my candy and no one elses and I didn't trust anyone. By the end of the game, I was pretty sure of my decisions and when I added my candy stocks up, I had around $4,200. I had won the game out of my class. Was there any type of strategy? Not at all. The candy stock game was a very interesting experience and it was very confusing. I had no idea what to trade, what to keep, or even what to do.
